He has a collection of cars he keeps at home in Avignon: a Fiat 500 (his first ever car), a 1932 Phantom II Rolls-Royce, a 1956 Porsche, a 1974 Ferrari Dino, an F40 and a Lancia Delta Integrale once rallied by Didier Auriol on the Tour de Corse.   "I love them all; I don't have a favourite," he says.

Other famous grale owners include Eddie Irvine (a Lagos Blue one and a red one!), and Jean Todt. Prof. Sid Watkins tells the story of Alesi & Berger, messing about at Fiorano in Todt's grale, Alesi driving. Berger thinks it is funny to yank on the handbrake whilst Alesi is doing some 'spirited' driving. Todt is less amused when 
they career towards him with the car on its roof!!

Rowan Atkinson has had several, describing them as great 'shopping cars' - well, he has got several Astons and a Mac F1 to crash....

Formula One mechanics & engineers love them, with staff at Williams and Mclaren owning grales. Others have Scoobys and Mitsu - Evos (surprise!)

Rally drivers like Kankkunen & Auriol have hung on to one...
nice to know they get driven properly.

Alexander Fyshe, gentleman racer, aficionado and car collector, lives in Italy, owns an amazing range of italian exotics - Bizzarrini, Monteverdi, Siata and Ferrari 250GT lusso. He may be getting on a bit but says "If I was only able to have one car in the world, it would have to be the integrale". He has owned four, all without problems.
